If you have your game working properly, and the banner, icon and save icons working properly as well, then install the WAD on your Wii from an SD card, USB drive or even FTP server, and enjoy! Happy injecting! Click to expand. Not eShop in the case of Wii, it's Wii Shop Channel.
I chose that wad because, since nintendo didnt make it, they cant call piracy on you for stealing it. Also when you download the wad manager, you copy the wad manager folder to your apps folder, and if the dol file is not named boot.dol, go into the wad manager folder and rename it to boot.dol. Is the link for the masterquest wad. Put the SD card in the sd card slot on the wii, then open up your preffered method of launching homebrew.
Hello everyone. Today I'm going to tell you how to make accurate-looking Virtual Console injects for the Wii or vWii. There's no current n00b-friendly injectors for the Wii yet - and have made easy to use injectors for the 3DS and Wii U respectively - so I'm posting a tutorial on how to do Wii manual injection the best way possible. Please check to pay attention to this tutorial when injecting a VC WAD.

After you have filled in the aforementioned command line, press Enter. You will be greeted with some code, followed by an option to choose which region the output WAD should be.
It can be ShowMiiWads, or wwPacker, any method you use to repack your WADs. Finally we're done with all the extracting, modifying and repacking.
PC Engine/TurboGrafx-16 games that support 5-player mode require that the users connect a combination of GameCube controllers and Wii Remotes (with or without Classic Controllers attached to the Wii Remotes).
In the case of Genesis/Mega Drive/Master System, repack all the CCF files using CCFTool before repacking the.app file. This process is just like extracting the same files, except you have to click on 'Pack' instead of 'Extract'. After this, repack the WAD using a WAD packer. It can be ShowMiiWads, or wwPacker, any method you use to repack your WADs. Finally we're done with all the extracting, modifying and repacking. Now it's time to test it just to make sure it works before installing it.
After that, look for 00000001.app, and delete anything that is filled in the title field. Type in the game title from there. Make sure that it does not exceed over 20 characters as with the WAD title, and for some cases type '^' to separate the title into two lines as with the brlyt file. Also please note that if you have not extracted 00000005.app, it will give you an error when injecting and will only inject the title, not the save icon and/or banner. The second line will only be displayed after you click on the save icon from the Wii Menu and you are given the option to copy, move or delete it. Once that is done, click Inject.
When I start the channel the screen goes black, the Wiimote won't sync and I have to hold down the power button on the Wii to turn it off. I've tried converting them to Region Free and leaving them NTSC, but nothing works. I also have Priiloader installed with 'Region Free Channels' enabled, btw. If someone has a solution to my problem that would be great. Click to expand.I did what you said by changing the regions using ShowMiiWads instead of FreeTheWads, and installing the Wads with Wii Mod Lite instead of Yet Another Wad Manager Mod. Unfortunately when I load the channel I get the same result, black screen, no response, have to hold the power button on the Wii.
There is a program that can make dummy save games that even appear on the wiis save data screen so you can delete them when you need without using a computer. I dont know where this program is, but you can designate the size of the blocks anywhere from 0.1 mb a piece to 1 or 2 gigabytes a piece.
Sing out if you need help getting them to work and I can point you in the right direction. Region free.wad's are probably better for you, unless your comfortable with installing priiloader. As with any mod, it does carry risks, but I haven't heard of anyone making a Wii brick in a long time. When you say don't work, is it because of your TV not being able to run in 60htz or just the wads black screen?
After the installation is done, restart the wii and run starfall again. You will now be able to enable hacks. The ones you will need to recover your wii in case of a banner brick are load recovery menu when press y on first gamecube controller, and the remove rescue menu diagnostic disk check. When you remove the diagnostic check, you can boot any game instead of the one disk with nintendo's signature used to find out how you screwed up your wii, and if you dont have a gamecube controller, buy one. They are cheap, since the gamecube is now obsolete. You can pick one up used from a local gamestop for 5 or 10 dollars. Thanks for reading, and remember, this ible is not done.
Ignore the IconVCPic.tpl and VCPic.tpl files, as we're after the third file, the save icon file. It should be named either 'banner.tpl', 'save_banner.tpl', or a group of WTE files, depending on the console. Open VCSaveInject, and select the console you're injecting for. Look for the save icon file(s) you just made. The rest is put in spoiler sections for different consoles.

Make sure that it does not exceed over 20 characters as with the WAD title, and for some cases type '^' to separate the title into two lines as with the brlyt file. I haven't tested yet whether you have to have the 00000005.app extracted into a folder like with Super NES, but just extract it in case. The second line will only be displayed after you click on the save icon from the Wii Menu and you are given the option to copy, move or delete it. Once that is done, click Inject. You will be left with an edited 00000001.app, as well as (if you extracted the 00000005.app) an edited save icon file inside the 00000005.app folder. Section 5: Finishing OK, now you have checked that the banner and icon are done, the injecting is done, and the save icon and banner are also done.
If they are not (especially with the banner), it can result in a banner brick when you install it on a real Wii. If the banner and/or icon don't appear to be right on Dolphin, try again from the beginning, making sure that you pay attention to everything. If everything appears to be working on Dolphin, open the WAD itself to make sure that the game works properly. Again, there is a chance that even if you do everything correctly, the game might not completely or partially work, especially with N64, Neo Geo, Master System and Commodore 64. If the game doesn't appear to work, or doesn't work at all, I am sorry that your injection does not work and I apologize for that.
Now it's time to repack all that into a new WAD, test it on Dolphin (a GameCube/Wii emulator) to make sure it works, and if it does so install it on your Wii or vWii. First, this is an optional but recommended step, but if you have used AutoInjectuwad, or any other injection method besides Devilken, before repacking the WAD, replace the existing 00000004.app with the special one that removes the 'Operations Guide' option from the game's HOME Menu. Make sure to have a backup of the original one first.
Also on the Switch. ✓ ✓ Japan-only. Emulates a Japanese MSX2. ✗ ✓ No SGB borders or GBC palettes. Link emulation added with Pokemon VC releases. Only used on Wii in Kirby Collection. ✗ ✓ In addition to the above, no IR or GBA mode emulation.

You will be left with an edited 00000001.app.
If it gives you a runtime error, just start again. When the injection succeeds, you will be left with an output WAD named 'VC-[Channel Title] in [Base WAD].wad'. If you have downloaded and extracted the Devilken's Injector archive, open up the folder you extracted it to. Hold Ctrl+Shift and right click while doing so. Then click on the 'Open command window here' option. You will have a command window redirected to the Devilken folder.
First, download this. (updated link, 07/08/18) It is a combination of wwPacker and Custom Nand-Loader MOD 1.1.

However now I can hardly seem to find any PAL VC wads, but I did find a heap of NTSC wads which I downloaded. I picked out a few and converted them to PAL using Free The Wads GUI, and installed them on my Wii using YAWMM.
Click it and That's it, you're done amigo! Virtual console wii wad download will begin.

PASTE it in the wwPacker folder. 6) Now you have the correct loader in the folder for your wad, you can start the patching. Drag your NTSC wad into the file called '_wwpacker-Loader.bat'. This will start the process.
This post is for all NTSC & PAL region Virtual Console Games, only genuine released games are here not injected.
