Per the manual you need to keep the area clear 3' on either side of the oven for proper ventilation. All in all, I am very happy with this purchase and I hope I enjoy this baby for many years. With a family of six that doesn't order out we needed a large microwave. This microwave worked pretty good for six months. Then one afternoon I put in some burritos and hit start and within 30 seconds it shuts off and spits an error code on the LED of H98. After researching this on the net I find that due to an inefficient inverter design it is common for this to fail and make the magneto fail as well.

I went on-line looking for another Panasconic and found Panasonic microwave at Walmart, for an EXCELLENT price (saved over $50 compared to price I paid for the Sharp unit) and made the purchase. It's a wonderful unit, I love it and would recommend it to anyone interested in this Panasonic model. Good looking unit. Lots of power. Inverter technology does indeed reduce cooking times.

Original review: April 2, 2018 I am a CFESA certified tech with several decades of experience. I contacted Panasonic, got shuffled through several phone numbers.

This answer was a pure lie. If I can go out and buy it, there is no way buying it will absolve them of any liability. Unit is less than 3 years old, Mag is covered for 3 years. Plain truth is they do not want to have anything to do with units that are already sold. I have worked on several of their commercial units over the years as well, ALL junk.

If so, see, and Otherwise, if the digital programmer circuit / controller does not get a feedback signal from the inverter for a period of 3 seconds, the controller will stop the cook cycle. That may be a loose connection in the wiring between the inverter, magnetron, and/or control board, or maybe one of those components has failed. Due to the lethal voltages used and produced in inverters, I do not recommend that an inexperienced person work on these. You can find many Panasonic owner's manuals for free download. The noise invariably wakes up the grand-baby in the next room. We can live with these inadequacies, but it could have been made much better. Original review: Nov. 6, 2017 In June 2016 I had to replace my GE over-the-counter microwave. The only microwave I could find which was the right size and colour was the Panasonic Inverter Microwave NN-SE284B for $600. It was very hard to install because of the power cable.

Several microwaves include turntables, scratch-resistant doors or fingerprint-resistant finishes. Whether you're looking for, or, you can find them and other quality brands at Sam's Club.

Starts making noise. Yesterday heated leftover. When opening the door to get the food out the microwave continued working. Closed the door. Test license drive in creole.

A response by email at last from the manager at Panasonic that DK AVS have found nothing wrong with the microwave and nothing more could be done. Interestingly, as the microwave is still with DK AVS. It is now 3 months since my first contact with John Lewis, I called and spoke to customer services who have reinvestigated and escalated the case, I quote” I want to let you know that I have escalated the case with your situation to our Head Office so the Service Centre will send the unit back to you as soon as possible.” This beggar’s belief that I have been without a microwave for 3 months and now they have found nothing wrong (i.e. Uneven cooking) and will return the microwave as soon as possible! Maybe in 12 month’s time!

One for our vacation rental property, one for home and this latest one for our sons' new home. I just love it! Our first one at the rental property has lasted for five years, it has been heavily used and it is still working great. The best feature I have found is its large capacity.

I hope 'Third time is a charm ' holds true. I liked this particular microwave soooo much that when my first one died after 8 years service I rushed to replace it with this identical model. My first microwave oven was an AMANA RR1j purchased in 1974. IT had a HUGE cavity / oven space as back then manufacturers all TRIED to sell us all on being able to cook a 16 pound TURKEY in the microwave. HORRIBLE idea, but it spoiled me for ever owning a tiny or even half-tiny microwave oven.

They say it is top of the class and that their products are reliable. No microwave. No news from Panasonic. This is ridiculous. Original review: Aug.

Last week, our units went to the dump. The glass inserts are going with our instruction booklets with purchase receipts taped inside to Goodwill, in hopes that someone needs one. Very many Panasonic control panels are the same, with the same instructions. The spring is our only issue. Original review: May 8, 2018 Model NN-SU686S Panasonic microwave. Bought for $112.34.

I responded that they could send a courier to which they declined. I received an email from them the same day requesting purchasing information and for me to return the appliance to them.

Our first one at the rental property has lasted for five years, it has been heavily used and it is still working great. The best feature I have found is its large capacity. It has more open space than other ovens in the market. It is so good that one can cook a whole chicken in a pot to perfection in 45 min. It is simple to use but it also has more sophisticated functions some are very useful like the turbo defrost and others are less so but on the whole they all work very well. My husband has found a slight problem with it, when in use this microwave's frequency can interfere with some internet applications, specially those related to radio transmission like Sonos.

So after a whopping six months of regular proper use, all the later model Panasonic with inverter technology have this flaw, it died. To replace the parts is out of the question since it would cost more then the $160 or so I spent on it. So please look elsewhere as the Panasonic may be value priced. The value of having a working microwave for 6months is lost on me The quality of the components that make up this unit is severely lacking. It even says so in the Panasonic repair training manual I found on the internet.

While visiting my family in 2015. I only heat food in it. After about 1 year it started to get somewhat rusty inside and it has progressed to very rusty. I have never had a microwave that turned rusty before It heats fine when I use it but it looks like it belongs in the landfill I am concerned with the rusting. What has happened to my microwave? I don't think I will buy a Panasonic again. Not a good product for the long haul!

There are several features to look out for when you're shopping for microwave ovens. Some microwaves have sensor cooking technology to determine the cooking time for you. Others include inverter technology to help heat food evenly. You'll also find microwaves with auto-cook settings for common foods like popcorn. There are auto defrost options and child lock features as well.

Unit just stops. Have to reset the clock; fortunately the rest of the basic programming is OK.

My husband is a very handy guy and opened it up and repaired the latch several times, it was bent on the inside due to it being held in place by one screw and very thin metal. Eventually, he bought a replacement part and installed it. It also bent. This may not seem like a bad issue but keep in mind that when the microwave fails to shut (due to the bent latch on the inside) the oven will not start. Not only that, but when the latch fails to shut properly, the interior oven light stays on.

The Panasonic 1.6 Cu Ft Stainless Steel Microwave Oven with Inverter Technology can help make cooking easy. This appliance enhances the art of cooking with microwave ovens, delivering delicious flavor, excellent color and superb shape and texture in the foods you cook.

Unit is only a couple of weeks old, and has already quit on me three times. First time was at full power for 8 minutes for baked potatoes. Last two times was on reduced power for warming and slow cooking items.

Panasonic 1250w Inverter Microwave Manual

Original review: Feb. 19, 2018 Panasonic NN-SF550W: I was heating some vegetables while I was in another room. I smelt an acrid, burning chemical smell and saw clouds of smoke pouring out of my kitchen. I had to go through the smoke which irritated my eyes to turn the microwave off. I then had to take it outside. The smoke was coming out from behind the keypad and lower portion of the microwave on the same side was too hot to touch. I immediately emailed Panasonic to report the fault and asked for safety data information in regard to the smoke as the smell, its effect on me and the inability to remove the smell suggested it may be hazardous.

First time was at full power for 8 minutes for baked potatoes. Last two times was on reduced power for warming and slow cooking items. Unit just stops. Have to reset the clock; fortunately the rest of the basic programming is OK. I'd recommend the unit, but watch for problems (caveat emptor, I guess). This one's going to be exchanged.

Due to the lethal voltages used and produced in inverters, I do not recommend that an inexperienced person work on these. You can find many Panasonic owner's manuals for free download. In Canada, you can. If you're not in the US, see.

Love the way this one does such a FINE job of thawing frozen foods and the way it has SEVERAL pre-programmed settings for specific foods. It has only been a few weeks but we like this microwave oven. After reading the reviews I decided to buy the 3 year extended warranty for $17.00 so that if it breaks down we don't have to come back and write a nasty review, here. If I had designed it I would have liked the ON button to be in one of the corners and that it be larger than the rest of them. Would also be nice to be able to select 30 seconds as a shortcut. Sure, there are higher priced microwaves that would do what I'd like, but it seems that after all these years, ALL microwaves would be designed to have 'high end' features no matter what the price.

This countertop microwave oven features turbo defrost technology that helps unfreeze food in less time. This convenient device also includes a One-Touch Genius Sensor Cooking feature that calculates the cooking time on its own and sets the power accordingly. It has a six-digit display that is simple to view. It also has a menu action screen that scrolls cooking instructions across the display in English, Spanish, or French.

Adobe acrobat pro serial number generator. The sizes for the prices are great. Though both demo models had hard to open/close doors, this oven is better than previous defective, different brand, I returned due to the huge capacity, Inverter, and sensor cooking. Glad I went with the large Panasonic, because looking for more reviews online, I read the NN-T945SF I bought has the Good Housekeeping Seal of Approval, meaning it comes with their 2-yr guarantee. Looked up this 1.6 cu ft Model NN-SN778S at Good Housekeeping, and it also has their Seal of Approval.

I quickly unplugged it, but watched to make sure. White smoke began coming from the plug holes. I yelled for my husband, who ran to the breaker box and started flipping switches until we found the right one. Even then, I stood watch over the outlet with the fire extinguisher.
