Bloody marvellous. Takes less than a minute start to finish and tastes great. The only issue I have is that I was hoping to narrow down the few I like in order to decide what to get from now one.but they ALL taste good (so I may just keep buying the assorted packs).

Lungo/espresso select and volume select) with AutoCappucino nozzle =£199 = also sold as the Krups FNA2 I ordered the M200 Automatic because I'm lazy and thought it was worth the little bit extra.

When you register your machine - serial number should be on a sticker in the box - you will be presented with the offer when you go to the online shop. However, I guess you had to sign up in order to buy the machine. So not sure what that means in terms of registering your machine It doesn't really save any money on the capsules, but you do get the free discovery box. You also have to decide whether you want 260 capsules that are a mixture of every variety, or whether you want to just order the capsules you prefer. However, it is pretty hard to make that decision as to what you prefer when all you have is 1 capsule of each variety included with the machine.

I descaled my Lattissima for the first time using the Nespresso descaling solution. And now, two months later, I cannot remove the chemical smell/taste of the descaling solution. I've run numerous descaling cycles with just water (as per Nespresso's customer service advice), with no success. I was forced to accept a refurbished machine (even though my Lattissima was only 3 months old).

Given the desire for easy to make Latte and Capuccino (and we were never impressed with having to use a frother on our old machine and taking it to bits every time and clean it) we went for a model with a built in Aeroccino. But we can always ebay them it seems. Which brings me to the question of capsules on ebay. With the 260 capsule welcome offer, we wont need any for some time. But is there any risk of 'fake' capsules out there?

It takes 80 secs for the milk, so I start the coffee brewing almost at the end of that, so that both are at their maximum temp. I also think the capsules provide us with a lot more choice of coffees than we would have had with beans.

My absolute favs are the Vivalto Lungo. Bought a Nespresso machine this week. And so far impressed. I know people will say it is not a 'real' coffee machine, and that the capsules are expensive, but it suits our needs. We did have a normal machine in the past but frankly found it too much trouble compared to the number of times we used it.

So i popped of an e-mail to Nespresso. They replied in about 5hrs, with a reason.because I had ordered my machine through them, the website took that as my first order and therefore removed the option to buy the Welcome Pack. However, they could tell that I hadn't bought any coffee yet, so said I was still eligible for the offer, but only if I did it via telephone. So I rang up, gave them my membership number (which you should get after your first order) and they agreed that I could still order it, so I did via cc.
