At 41 minutes in Wick visits a club and there is a ton of ambient club music and conversations and dinner plates and glasses clinking. Really, this is a completely different feature that’s only linked by Dolby’s branding. What Is Dolby Atmos? Traditional 5.1 or 7.1 surround sound uses 5 or 7 speaker channels, plus a subwoofer. When you watch a movie or play a game with surround sound, that movie or game is actually sending 6 or 8 separate channels of sound to your speakers.
